One port, twelve terminals.
The Port of Aqaba is owned by the Aqaba Development Corporation and comprises twelve terminals operated by five operators, with pilotage handled by the Aqaba Port Marine Services Company. Port operations were relocated south of the city in 2006 to reach deeper water, and a major expansion completed in 2013 added roughly 460 metres of quay, bringing the total to about one kilometre, together with ship-to-shore cranes and rubber-tyred gantries.
Container gateway to the Levant.
Aqaba Container Terminal — a joint venture between the Aqaba Development Corporation and APM Terminals — is the second-busiest container facility on the Red Sea. It passed one million TEU in 2025, with gate turnaround under 32 minutes and a new ship-to-shore gantry able to serve vessels up to 400 metres in length.

Outward clearance, bills of lading issued and managed, and a final disbursement account supported by original vouchers.
